University of Idaho NSF – GK12 STEPS Project
Scientists & Teachers Educating & Preparing Students
“Take a step, leave a footprint” The overall goal of the University of Idaho's NSF GK-12 program is to improve the communication skills and teaching ability of graduate students in the sciences, mathematics, and engineering, while increasing inquiry-based science being taught in rural elementary schools (grades 4-6) in north Idaho.
The STEPS GK-12 program ended in June 2009. This web site is maintained so teacher participants have access to lesson archives.
